Frank Peter Schuster

Frank Peter Schuster (* 1975 ) is a German law scholar and university professor .

Life

He studied law in Mainz and Bristol . In 2000 he completed his studies with the first state examination and the Magister of German and Foreign Law ( Mag. Iur. ). This was followed by the legal preparatory service in the district of the OLG Koblenz with the second state examination in 2002. From 2002 to 2007 he was a research assistant at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz at the chair for German and foreign criminal law and criminal procedure law, Walter Perron , since 2004 at the chair for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law, Volker Erb . After completing his doctorate in 2005 with Walter Perron, his dissertation was awarded the prize of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, he worked from 2006 to 2011 as a lawyer in Wiesbaden with a special permit in accordance with Section 47 (1) sentence 2 BRAO. From 2007 to 2011 he was Academic Councilor a. Currently at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. After completing his habilitation in 2010 with Volker Erb ( venia legendi : "German, European and international criminal and criminal procedural law including commercial and tax criminal law"), he represented the chair for criminal law, criminal procedural law and related areas at the University of Bayreuth in the 2010/2011 winter semester . Since 2011 he has held the chair for international criminal law, criminal procedure law, commercial and tax criminal law at the University of Würzburg .

His work focuses on criminal law (general part), commercial and tax criminal law, European and international criminal law, criminal procedural law and comparative law. He is co-author and co-editor of the laws commentary to the Criminal Code Schönke-Schröder .
