Schammach is a district of the city of Grafing near Munich in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg . The village is about one kilometer southwest of Grafing and six kilometers northeast of Glonn in the Nettelkofen district . Schammach is on the district road EBE 13 and on the Munich – Rosenheim railway line , which divides the development from north to south.

industrial Estate

Grafing's largest industrial area is located in Schammach. Schammach is divided into two parts: To the east of the Munich – Rosenheim railway line is the residential area, to the west of the railway line is the industrial area.

In July 2015 it became known that a private investor wanted to build a home for asylum seekers in the industrial park. The application, which the city was positive about, was rejected due to the high level of noise from the railway line.

history

Schammach has belonged to the city of Grafing since May 1, 1978, before that to the former municipality of Nettelkofen. The first property was the Schammerhof , south of the Urtelbach , west of the railway line and north of today's EBE 13 district road.

Population development

In the censuses of 1885, 1900 and 1925, the wasteland had two residential buildings and eight, 19 and 15 residents. In 1950 there were 89 residents in 13 residential buildings. In the 1987 census, 57 apartments were found in 36 residential buildings with 135 inhabitants.
