Öxing , formerly Exing , is a district of the town of Grafing near Munich in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg . The former municipality of Öxing was incorporated into Grafing near Munich on August 1, 1933 and corresponds roughly to today's Oexing district within the urban area. This incorporation was the first expansion of Grafing, then to the east.

geography

The border runs from north to south along Wasserburger Strasse, Münchener Strasse, Lederergasse, Grenzstrasse, Brückenweg, Sudetenstrasse, Schlesierstrasse and Schloßstrasse. Öxing has grown together structurally with Grafing and is no longer recognizable as a separate living space.

history

Öxing was first mentioned in 813 . This makes Öxing the oldest town in Grafing. Until the end of the 17th century , the only parish church in the area, St. Agidius , which also included the residents of Grafing, stood in Öxing .

In 1925 the parish village of Öxing had 702 inhabitants. The 381.64 hectare community also included five other small districts:

In later locality directories, these places were no longer recorded separately from the market or from the city of Grafing.

The last three places mentioned were watermills , later hydropower plants on the Attel , which originated in Öxing through the confluence of the Wieshamerbach and Urtel rivers.

There used to be another wasteland, Kerschbaumer , with three residents and a building as of the census of December 1, 1875.
