description
The Suhl small-bore standard rifle 150 served as the basis for the development of the SSG 82 .
The SSG 82 has a cold-hammered, free-swinging barrel. The sports stock is similar to that of the standard small bore rifle with a cheek piece and a punched pistol grip. The butt plate is adjustable in length and height.
The chamber lock has four locking lugs and rotates 60 °. The pressure point trigger is adjustable (350 ± 50 pond ). A slide lock on the right side of the weapon above the trigger serves as a safety device .
The quadruple riflescope comes from the VEB Carl Zeiss Jena ("Ziel4 / S" 4 × 32 ZF, reticle 1) and is attached with a swivel mount from Suhl .
The SSG 82 fires ammunition specially manufactured for this weapon in the Warsaw Treaty standard caliber 5.45 × 39 mm M74 with a muzzle velocity of 980 m / s.
