course
It rises south of the Pommernweg, crosses under the Emmy-Beckmann-Weg, the Vielohweg, the Schippelsweg, the Krähenweg and the Straße Bansgraben as well as the Johannkamp and the Paul-Sorge-Straße, then its only tributary, the Seesreingraben flows into it. It runs almost completely inaccessible, partly above ground and mostly through residential areas.
Schippelsmoor
The Schippelsmoor was a moor in the former village of Niendorf. The bog was an important peat extraction area . The peat was sold to Hamburg and Altona by the diggers . Towards the end of the 19th century , Niendorfs fields became popular building sites for villas and country houses, today only street names and the moat are reminiscent of the former moor.
