The village is characterized by half-timbered architecture. In the center of the village there are four old half-timbered houses , which are described with thanksgiving to God in old German script. A path through the forest connects the town center with the small settlement of Majack. Majack was created as a holiday home area in the early 1970s. Due to the amendment of the statutes of the municipality of Clenze in 2007, it is now a special-use area for "relaxation and living", which legalized the "permanent living" of many homeowners there. In the district of Majack there are 14 smaller houses (former holiday homes), eight of which are permanently inhabited.
