Arnbach Castle , also known as Arnbach Monastery because of the ownership by the Augustinian Canons of Indersdorf Monastery , is a former Hofmarkschloss in Arnbach in the municipality of Schwabhausen (Upper Bavaria) .

history

There is evidence of a Hofmark in Arnbach since 1442 , which later came into the possession of the Indersdorf Abbey . A Montessori children's house is now housed in the former Arnbach castle or monastery .

Building description

The castle is a two-story building with a hipped roof . At its core it is medieval, the current building remains date from after 1781.
