Reinhard Oelbermann (born June 7, 1955 in Speyer ; † April 25, 2019 there ) was a bookseller , politician ( CDU ) and member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .

Life

Oelbermann attended the Hans-Purrmann-Gymnasium in Speyer from 1965 to 1974 . After graduating from high school and doing military service, he studied at the Mannheim Cooperative State University from 1975 to 1978 . He completed his studies with a degree in business administration . From 1989 he was the sole managing partner of the bookstore Oelbermann GmbH with branches in Speyer, Schifferstadt and Limburgerhof .

He was chairman of the supervisory board of Volksbank Kur- und Rheinpfalz . Oelbermann succumbed to the consequences of cancer on April 25, 2019 at the age of 63 .

politics

He was a board member of the CDU Dudenhofen and a member of the Dudenhofen municipal council and the municipal council in Römerberg-Dudenhofen . He was deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group on both committees.

MP

For the state elections on March 13, 2016 , he ran in constituency 38 Speyer and was directly elected to the state parliament. From May 2016 until his death, Oelbermann was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .

He was a full member of the Science, Education and Culture Committee and the Petitions Committee.
