Bartin Castle ( Polish Pałac w Barcinie ) is a castle in today's Polish Barcino , Gmina Kępice (Hammermühle municipality) in the Powiat Słupski , Pomeranian Voivodeship . Historically, the place belonged to the German district of Rummelsburg .

The building that is preserved today was erected after 1736 on behalf of Kaspar Otto von Massow. The builder is unknown, but the neighboring manor houses in Woblanse and Poberow ( Poborowo ) presumably also go back to him, as they also have the same peculiar pilasters . Various older houses in Stolp also have similar characteristics.

The building, two-story and elongated with a pronounced central section, is relatively large for a manor house in this region. The facade is simply designed and decorated only with painted pilasters and plastic capitals .

Bartin was one of the headquarters of the von Massows. The oldest surviving fiefdom letter to the von Massows comes from 1478 and was issued for Henning von Massow. To the manor belonged u. a. the places Barwin ( Barwino ), Brünnow ( Bronowo ), Woblanse ( Obłęże ) and Wusseken ( Osieki ). In 1678 the estate went to Rüdiger von der Goltz for 9,000 guilders. The estate was bought back by the von Massow in the 18th century.

Already in 1793 Joachim Franz Gottlieb von Massow sold Bartin to Karl Georg von Hoym . In 1801, however, Bartin bought back for 60,000 Reichstaler for the von Massow. Via von Puttkamer, the estate, together with Rosenhof and Vorwerk Augustthal ( Jabłonna ), passed to Karl Wilhelm Becker at the end of the 19th century.
