Shmuel Sackett

Schmuel Sackett (* 1961 in Middle Village ( Queens ), Hebrew שמואל סקט) is an Israeli politician and religious Zionist . Together with Moshe Feiglin he is the founder of the So Arzenu and Manhigut Jehudit (“Jewish leadership”) movements; the latter has been the largest parliamentary group within the Likud Central Committee since 2005 .

Life

Sackett was born in the USA and graduated from Touro College in New York . He is considered one of the best-known critics of interreligious marriages , the impact of which on Judaism he compares with the Holocaust . This position is supported by the Israeli Minister of Education, Rafael Peretz .

Sackett has been married since 1981 and has six children.
