The Schneckenhalde is a hamlet in the Hesselbachtal near Oberkirch and belongs to Hesselbach .

The geographical object is mentioned by Ludwig Heizman in the Oberkirch district in the past and present as part of Hesselbach. The Schneckenhalde is halfway at the transition from the Hesselbachtal to Ödsbach below the Heuberger Eck . This place was called this on old maps and is still used in hiking descriptions and in official notices.
