The Schneeberg is a 692.4 m high mountain and marks the southernmost border point of the district of the city of Suhl in Thuringia .

The mountain, which is wooded up to the southern edge of the valley, belongs on the south side to the district of Grub and Eichenberg , both small forest villages near Themar in the Hildburghausen district . The Schneeberg is the highest point of the Little Thuringian Forest . A hiking trail connects the Dolmar to the Rennsteig across the wooded Schneeberg .
