Schneppenheim is a district of the community of Weilerswist in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia and together with Hausweiler , Ottenheim and Derkum forms the statistical locality of Hausweiler-Derkum with 1703 inhabitants.

The district is located south of Weilerswist. The state road 210 leads through the village.

A document from 1152 shows that Schneppenheim belonged to the Duchy of Limburg at that time .

When a new administration was created under French rule in 1798/1800, Schneppenheim belonged to the Mairie Lommersum in the canton of Lechenich .
