The chimney is 559.1  m above sea level. NHN high, conical mountain in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

The mountain is located on the southern edge of the Öchsetal in the district of Oechsen in the Rhön, about 5 km west of Dermbach . On the west side of the mountain is the medieval castle site of Schöneburg , occupied by ramparts and moats .
