history

The company "Hans Schramm & Sohn Schleppschifffahrt", which was founded in 1926 and began as a small mooring company , is the core of the Schramm Group. In the years that followed, the basis of this company was greatly expanded.

Following the acquisition of the majority stake (51%) in the Swedish port operator and logistics company Söderhamns Stuveri & Hamn AB (SSHAB) on March 1, 2017, the number of port and logistics locations managed by the Schramm Group increased by six to 15: SSHAB operates the ports of Orrskär, Stugsund and Langrör, as well as the logistics for three port facilities of industrial companies.

On June 12, 2020, the managing director of Brunsbüttel Ports / Schramm Group, Frank Schnabel, as well as Axel Vogt and Holger Dinse from the Zweckverband Energie- und Technologiestandort Freesendorf (ETF) signed the contract to take over the port operations of the Lubmin industrial port on January 1, 2021 under the new name Lubmin Port . This will be the 17th location in the Schramm Ports & Logistics network .

Port logistics

The subsidiary Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH operates terminals at the German locations Brunsbüttel, Glückstadt and Rendsburg. In addition, its subsidiary Schramm Port & Logistics Sweden AB holds a stake in the terminal operator Söderhamns Stuveri & Hamn AB (SSHAB) in Sweden.

A total of 14.3 million tons of goods were handled in the Group's German terminals in 2015, a good 16% more than in 2014.
