The Schroeder Spur is a large mountain ridge in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Usarp Mountains it extends at the southern end of the Daniels Range south of the Edwards Glacier and parallel to the Thompson Spur .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Lauren A. Schroeder, biologist of the United States Antarctic Research Program on the McMurdo- Station from 1967 to 1968.
