The shot stream is by the confluence of the left with the Reith digging the Schwärzenbach , a left flow to Mangfall at Ostin in Upper Bavaria .
The Schußbach arises in a swamp meadow on the saddle between Oeder Kogel and Ostiner Berg, first flows along the northern slopes into the valley near Schuß and there makes a bend to the west. From its confluence with the Reithgraben, the body of water is called the Schwärzenbach.
