Schwalmere

Schwalmere (outdated also ( Höchst ) Schwalmer ( e ) n ) is the name of a 2777  m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland .

The Schwalmere is the central peak of the mountain group between Kander and Lütschine and dominates it when viewed from the north. The highest point in the group is the Schilthorn at 2970  m above sea level. M.

The Schwalmere lies on the ridge that extends from the Morgenberghorn to the Schilthorn in a north-south direction . Southwest of the summit is the Spiggegrund , a side valley of the Kiental . In the northeast lies the Suldtal , in the north / northeast the Saxettal and in the east / southeast the Soustal .

The summit can be reached by mountain hikers and ski tourers.
