Schwartau (Bad Schwartau)
Schwartau (Bad Schwartau) is a district of the city of Bad Schwartau .
The district of Schwartau includes the original area of today's city of Bad Schwartau. Historically, Schwartau goes back to a settlement on the Schwartau River , which expanded to the north (along the Riesebusch ) and south in the direction of today's market square and later along the course of today's Lübecker Straße. The extension of Schwartau
- West was through the Rensfelder Moor and the dry and less fertile area of the "sand field",
- Bounded to the east by the Kaltenhof estate .
In the 19th century the area of the district Kaltenhof was added. In 1934 the districts of Cleverbrück , Groß Parin and Rensefeld were incorporated.
The district of Schwartau comprises the central part of the urban area of the city of Bad Schwartau - which is not occupied by the other four districts of Kaltenhof , Cleverbrück , Groß Parin and Rensefeld - and most of the public and business infrastructure of the city of Bad Schwartau.

The district of Schwartau includes the part of the urban area along Lübecker Straße, the market square, Rensefelder Straße, Eutiner Straße, Töpferberg and Straße am Riesebusch - it is located
- west of the Kiel-Lübeck railway line (to the east is the district of Kaltenhof )
- east of Clever Au (to the west is the Cleverbrück district ) as well as the Bürgerpark and the course of the road Carl-Diem-Straße / Fünfhausen / Schnoorstraße (to the west is the district of Rensefeld ; north of the cut in the terrain at the transition from Pariner Straße / Groß Parin to the district of Groß Parin )
