Schwarzacher Hochwald

The Schwarzacher Hochwald is a district in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen .

It lies entirely on the Schwarzach municipality and is around 5.5 square kilometers in size. The district borders in the north on the district Sankt Englmar , in the east on Achslach , Bernried , in the south on Albertsried and Schwarzach and in the west on Perasdorf . The area is uninhabited and almost completely forested. The largest extension is from west to east about 3.5 kilometers, from the Schopf towards Klausenstein (outside). The summit of the Hirschenstein lies on the northeastern boundary.
