The 1048  m above sea level. NN high Klausenstein is a mountain in the front Bavarian Forest in the north of the district town of Deggendorf and is located in the municipality of Bernrieds in the district of Deggendorf . The distance from the summit to the border of the Regen district is around thirty meters and around five hundred meters to the Straubing-Bogen district . All slopes and the summit are completely forested. Neighboring peaks are the Rauhe Kulm ( 1050  m ) in the south-east, only two hundred and seventy meters away, and the Hirschenstein ( 1092  m ) in the north-west after the Stiermoos , two kilometers away .
