Swiss poster of the year

Swiss Poster of the Year (Swiss Poster Award) is an award. The prize has been awarded annually since 1941 in collaboration between APG and a jury of experts and is recognized by the Federal Department of Home Affairs .

The aim of the presentation on a public platform is to make the nationwide poster work accessible to a wider audience.

Categories

  • Commercial posters - national campaigns : posters that were displayed in at least ten cantons and / or in the five largest cities of Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich. The posters must provide some form of information about companies, products, services or events.
  • Commercial posters - Regional and local campaigns : posters with regional and / or local significance. The posters must provide some form of information about companies, products, services or events.
  • Public service posters : posters from charities and public institutions.
  • Cultural posters : posters for cultural institutions or events such as theaters, museums, festivals.
  • Poster Innovations : New ideas based on the poster and bookable poster spaces.
  • Digital Out of Home : Digital posters with motion picture / text larger than 70 inches .
