action

The fourteen-minute short film depicts the adventure of a pair of sisters. Marina (Kerstin Schlör) loves the swing rhythms in a dance hall where German women dance with Americans. One evening she takes her blind sister Sophie (Julia Richter) with her. Sophie, fascinated by the sounds, meets a black GI (Jonathyn Price).

Awards

Mirjam Kubescha's film received the silver award at the German Short Film Festival and the jury award at the Short Film Festival in Mediawe ( Hungary ). The film also received the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Prize and the prize for the best short film in Győr . The film was represented at festivals in Gothenburg and at the Hof International Film Festival .
