Scientia (Latin for 'knowledge' and 'science') was an Italian scientific journal that was founded in Bologna in 1907 under the name Rivista di Scienza: organo internazionale di sintesi scientifica . In 1910 she changed her name to Scientia: rivista internazionale di sintesi scientifica , which she kept until she was appointed in 1988. The pioneers of the new journal were the mathematician Federigo Enriques , the chemist Giuseppe Bruni , the physician Antonio Dionisi , the biologist Andrea Giardina and the engineer Eugenio Rignano . Scientia has been fully digitized and made available on the Internet by the University of Bologna . The magazine was multilingual, the articles appeared in Italian, German, English and French, and later also in Spanish.
