Scott Barron (born August 27, 1974 in Dublin ) is a retired Irish tennis player .
Career
Barron was never able to assert himself on a higher professional level such as the ATP Challenger Tour . He also never qualified for Grand Slam tournaments .
However, he took part in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , where he played on the side of Owen Casey in the doubles competition. However , Casey and Barron clearly had to admit defeat in two sets against Canadians Grant Connell and Daniel Nestor .
Barron played a total of 17 games for the Irish Davis Cup team between 1993 and 2001 . His individual balance is balanced at 11:11, his double balance is positive at 6: 2.
