Scott James Hill (born May 1, 1994 ) is a Canadian cross-country skier .

Career

Hill started in Rossland in December 2011 for the first time in the Nor-Am-Cup , finishing 53rd in the sprint and 46th in the 15 km mass start race. At the Junior World Championships 2013 in Liberec he came 62nd place over 10 km freestyle and 58th place in sprint. His best placings at the 2014 Junior World Championships in Val di Fiemme were 45th place over 10 km classic and 13th place with the relay. At the U23 World Championships in 2015 in Almaty , he ran to 48th place over 15 km freestyle, 46th place in skiathlon and 40th place in sprint. In the 2014/15 season he achieved eight top ten placements, including second place in the skiathlon in Duntroon , ninth place in the overall standings of the Nor-Am Cup. At the U23 World Championships in 2016 in Râșnov he finished 42nd place over 15 km freestyle, 39th place in sprint and 36th place over 15 km classic and at the U23 World Championships 2017 in Soldier Hollow he finished 49th place over 15 km freestyle and 35th place in the sprint. In the 2017/18 season he achieved three second places and first place over 10 km classic at the Canadian championships in Thunder Bay , and fifth place in the overall standings of the Nor-Am Cup. He made his debut in the World Cup in February 2019 in Cogne , which he finished classically in 57th place over 15 km. His best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol were 34th place over 15 km classic and 12th place with the relay.
