Scott Lehman (born January 5, 1986 in Windsor , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey defender who has been under contract with the Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League since July 2010 .

Career

Scott Lehman began his career as a hockey player with the Toronto St. Michael's Majors , for which he was active for a total of four years in the Ontario Hockey League from 2002 to 2006 . During this time he was selected during the NHL Entry Draft 2004 in the third round as a total of 76th player by the Atlanta Thrashers .

In his first season in professional ice hockey, he was mainly on the ice for the Gwinnett Gladiators from the ECHL in the 2006/07 season , but also played three times for the Thrashers' other farm team , the Chicago Wolves from the American Hockey League . The following season the defender spent mostly with the Wolves, with whom he won the Calder Cup . During the 2008/09 season , Lehman surprisingly made his debut in the National Hockey League due to multiple injuries in both the NHL team of the Thrashers and the farm team for the Wolves. During his first NHL mission, however, he only played three minutes. After he had only played for the Chicago Wolves until the end of the 2009/10 season, Lehman signed a contract with the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL on July 21, 2010 . In the 2010/11 season, the Canadian received not only missions for the Admirals but also match practice with the Cincinnati Cyclones in the ECHL.
