Seance - The horror ( Japanese 降 霊 , Kōrei ) is a Japanese horror film by director Kiyoshi Kurosawa from 2001. It is a remake of the British film On a Dull Afternoon (Original: Séance on a Wet Afternoon ) from 1964 and, like this one, is based on the book of the same name by Mark McShane .

The film is a dark, shocking psychological horror thriller by Kiyoshi Kurosawa , which has won several international awards and is mentioned in the same breath as titles like The Grudge , The Ring and Dark Waters .
