The Seathwaite Tarn is a natural lake that was dammed between 1904 and 1907 by the construction of a dam to provide drinking water for Barrow-in-Furness . The lake is south of the Gray Friar and north of the Seathwaite Fells on the edge of the Duddon Valley and north of the village of Seathwaite .
