The Seathwaite Fell is a mountain in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The Seathwaite is one of the 214 mountains of the Lake District described by Alfred Wainwright. The Seathwaite Fell is 632 m high, but has a notch height of 31 m. Seathwaite Fell is surrounded by Glaramara to the east, Great End to the south, and Great Gable to the west. To the north the mountain slopes down to the Borrowdale Valley.

To the southwest of Seathwaite Fell lies the Styhead Tarn and its drain, the Styhead Gill, flows on its western flank. The Sprinkling Tarn is in the south of the mountain. The River Derwent arises from the confluence of the Styhead Gill and Grains Gill in the north of the Seathwaite Fell.

In November 2009, a precipitation record for England and Wales was measured on the north side of the mountain with 314.4 mm of precipitation within 24 hours.

The hamlet of Seathwaite to the north of the mountain provides a starting point for the ascent to Styhead Fell at the end of the road. Further access possibilities result from the connections of the Sty Head Pass .
