Anna Feodorovna Kruger , born Anna Feodorovna Spengler , (born February 17 . Jul / 28. February  1792 greg. In St. Petersburg , † 4. August 1814 in Pest ) was a German theater actress .

Life

Krüger, daughter of the actress Karoline Krüger and the director Franz Spengler of the Prague National Theater, was adopted by her mother Karl Friedrich Krüger 's new husband after the death of her father .

She appeared for the first time on September 1, 1804 as "Amalia" in Hauer in Austria at the Theater an der Wien , then was engaged in Brno in 1809 and was a member of the Hofburgtheater in Vienna for several years (her most popular roles there were "Maiden of Orleans") , "Marianne", "Emma" in Crusaders , "Eulalia" in hatred and repentance etc.), where she actually only came to the fore.

When she made a guest appearance in Pest in 1814 with great success , she fell seriously ill. On July 19, she appeared on stage for the last time as “Afanasia” in Benjowsky . A malignant nerve fever, the germ of which she carried within herself for a long time, caused her death on August 4, 1814.
