Kamal Abdullah Bahamdan ( Arabic كمال عبد الله باحمدان, DMG Kamāl ʿAbd Allāh Bāḥamdān ; * February 12, 1970 ) is a Saudi Arabian entrepreneur and show jumper .

Bahamdan studied at Boston University , where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering. From 2002 to 2009 he was CEO of Bahamdan Group Holding Co., an investment firm focusing on the MENA region . In addition to a variety of other functions in the financial sector, Kamal Bahamdan has been co-founder and CEO of Safanad Limited, which is also active in the financial and investment sector, since 2009.

At the age of seven he began to ride, supported by his father. During his studies in the United States he took part in jumping competitions there, after which he moved to Europe. During this time he trained with Anne Kursinski , Bernie Traurig, Nelson Pessoa and Paul Schockemöhle . Under the leadership of Schockemöhle, Saudi Arabia took part in the 1996 Olympic Games, for which Kamal Bahamdan Holger Wulschner 's top horse Missouri was acquired. Bahamdan played his first Olympic Games with Missouri in Atlanta.

In 2012 he won the bronze medal with the Saudi team at the Olympic Games in London on Noblesse des Tess .

He trains with Jan Tops , since 2010 he has been training with the Saudi Arabian team at Stanny von Paesschen in Wisbecq .
