Performance Sale International
In 1980 Paul Schockemöhle, together with George Morris and Frank Chapot, had the idea that there was a market in America for sport horses from Germany and Holland. To this end, successful auctions with talented young European horses were held in the USA. Together with Ullrich Kasselmann, Schockemöhle is now organizing the Performance Sale International Auctions (PSI Auctions) in Germany in Ankum , where young horses are auctioned. So far, the former Bundeschampioness Poetin has received the highest bid with € 2.5 million.

Schockemöhle came under fire in 1990 because he used the so-called parallel bars to induce his horses to jump higher. Subsequently, the German Equestrian Association prohibited the practice of barring in show jumping horses both at tournaments and during training.
