Andreas Kreuzer (born August 31, 1990 ) is a German show jumper .

Career

Andreas Kreuzer started pony riding on his parents' farm, and at the age of 12 he won his first jumping in the advanced class. From 2008 he worked in Paul Schockemöhle 's stable for four years . Shortly before he started working for Schockemöhle, Kreuzer had won the bronze medal with the team at the European Junior Championships in Prague . A year later, at the European Young Rider Championships in Hoofddorp , he finished 4th with the team, in the individual he came 10th with Atlantus .

In Marnes-la-Coquette (Haras de Jardy) Kreuzer won the bronze medal at the European Young Rider Championships in 2010, and he won gold with the team. In 2011 he won the Prize of the Best in Warendorf . With Cortez he also won the Bad Oeynhausen Grand Prix .

From the beginning of 2011, Paul Schockemöhle made the stallion Chacco-Blue available to Andreas Kreuzer for his sports career. For the first time at the German Show Jumping and Dressage Derby he contested a Grand Prix at CSI 5 * level , where he finished 14th with Chacco-Blue . As a result of his previous successes, he was granted a starting place at the German Nations Cup tournament in Aachen in the same year . Here, at his second 5 * Grand Prix, he came third with Chacco-Blue .

At the Spruce Meadows World Cup tournament in Calgary , Canada , he finished third on Atlantus in 2011 .

In the middle of 2012, Kreuzer moved to Otto Becker's stable . Andreas Kreuzer has been self-employed since October 2014. Initially, he was based at Franke Sloothaak's former facility in Borgholzhausen , then from April 2016 to 2018 he worked at Lars Meyer zu Bexten's farm in Herford .

As a member of the Global Champions League team Cascais Charms, Andreas Kreuzer was able to participate increasingly in CSI 5 * tournaments again in 2016. Together with David Will , he won the 2016 Shanghai Global Champions League test . With Calvilot he became German champion in Balve in June 2016 .

Since 2018 Andreas Kreuzer is in Dammer and has worked as an instructor for the district Neuenwalde riders and horses including several lower heater . The system was converted and expanded for this purpose by the beginning of 2020.

In June 2012, he was ranked 145th in the FEI world rankings.
