Jagdfieber 2 (Original title: Open Season 2 ) is a computer-animated comedy film from 2008 and the sequel to Jagdfieber from 2006. In 2010, another film was released under the title Jagdfieber 3 , 2015 Jagdfieber - Uninvited visitors was released.
action
The stag Elliot and his stag lady Giselle are about to get married. On the day of the ceremony, Elliot doubts whether he is doing the right thing. Unfortunately, his antlers also fall off. In the meantime, the owner of the dachshund Mr. Viennese footsteps with his favorite dog biscuit, Hündfüd . Mr. Wiener cannot resist this and eats his way along the trail to his mistress, who immediately brings him back to civilization. Elliot has Mr. Wiener observed during the wedding ceremony and therefore left it shortly before saying yes to Mr. Wiener to follow. A group is now on its way, Mr. To free Viennese from the people and bring them back. You can find Mr. Viennese in a mobile home at a gas station. Now Boog disguises himself as a dog and Elliot with Buddy on his head as a woman in order to be together with Mr. To see Viennese after the others in the animal paradise. Meanwhile, Giselle and McSquizzy have been captured by Fifi and his gang. When trying to free them, Elliot and Buddy are also caught. With the help of Boog and Mr. Wiener manages to escape all. - The dachshund Mr. Wiener (in the original Mr. Weenie) speaks in the original English with a German accent and numerous words also in German. In the German version it has an Austrian accent.
- At the end of the film, all characters sing the title "(They Long to Be) Close to You" by Burt Bacharach and Hal David . In the German synchronization, only the melody was adopted and a German text was used.
- Produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Reel FX Creative Studios , the film never hit theaters and was released directly on DVD. It was first published in Germany on January 22, 2009 and in the USA on January 27, 2009.
