Jane Krakowski
Jane Krakowski (* 11. October 1968 in Parsippany-Troy Hills , New Jersey as Jane Krajkowski ) is an American actress .
Life and accomplishments
Jane Krakowski's family is of Polish descent. Krakowski made her debut as a teenager in a minor supporting role in the television movie No Big Deal in 1983 , in the same year she starred alongside Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo in the comedy Die Schrillen Vier auf Fahrt . In 1990, she played in the musical - play Grand Hotel with; for this role she was nominated for a Tony Award . In the 1998 dance film Dance with Me , she played a bigger role alongside Vanessa Lynn Williams and Kris Kristofferson .
Krakowski became known as the secretary Elaine Vassal in the television series Ally McBeal , which was broadcast from 1997 to 2002. For this role she was nominated for a Golden Globe in 1999 and a Golden Satellite Award in 2001. She won the Screen Actors Guild Award in 1999 , and was nominated for the same award in 1998, 2000 and 2001. When Dr. She played Gretchen Trott in 2002 and 2003 in the television series Everwood, a psychologist.
In 2003, Krakowski appeared on Broadway alongside Antonio Banderas in the musical Nine . For this role she received the Tony Award , the Drama Desk Award and the Outer Critic's Award. Since 2006 she has played in the sitcom 30 Rock . In 2008 she won the Screen Actors Guild Award together with the ensemble around Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey for the part of the less successful television actress Jenna Maroney and received an Emmy nomination a year later . In 2016 she returned to Broadway in the musical She loves me . She was nominated again for the Tony Award for her portrayal of Ilona.
Jane Krakowski is married to Robert Godley. A son (* 2011) emerged from the relationship.
