Career

As a pony rider , he took part in A and L jumping competitions at rural tournaments. After switching to large horses, there were greater successes: For the first time, Haßmann took part in the German championships in his age group in 2000. At the European Young Rider Championships in Schaffhausen in 2005 , he won team gold in a team with Philip Rüping , Heinrike Konzag and Simone Meurer.

In 2010 he finished 10th in the German championship in Balve in the saddle of Balzaci . Also in 2010 he won the German Professional Equestrian Championships in Bad Oeynhausen, as a horse he brought Le Crocodile into this test with horse change. In July 2012 he won the Nations Cup of Poland in Sopot as part of the German team with Balzaci .

With victories in the Grand Prix of Nörten-Hardenberg in 2016 and 2017, the “Golden Whip” hiking trophy, awarded at the castle tournament, became his property. Hans Günter Winkler and Denis Lynch succeeded in doing this before . Having already come second in the national jumping competition list in 2015, Haßmann was the most successful German show jumper in the 2017 tournament year (October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017).

With the gray stallion Cayenne , Haßmann remained faultless over five rides at the German Championships in 2019 and thus secured the championship title in the men's ranking.

He has the golden riding badge. Felix Haßmann has been a member of the perspective squad (formerly B-squad) of German show jumpers since 2015. In addition to the show presentation of his experienced competition horses, he also takes on the presentation of the young horses.
