Alexandra Ledermann (born May 14, 1969 ) is a French show jumper .

In 1999 she became the first woman to become European champion in show jumping . She won with her horse Rochet M . In addition, she won the bronze medal with Rochet M at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 and the silver medal with the French team at the 1998 World Equestrian Games in Rome .

In addition to these successes, she also achieved the following placements at championships:

  • 1995: European Championship in St. Gallen: 3rd place with the team and 10th place in the individual ranking with Rochet M
  • 1996: Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta: 4th place with the team with Rochet M
  • 1997: European Championship in Mannheim: 4th place with the team and 13th place in the individual ranking with Rochet M
  • 1998: World Equestrian Games in Rome: 43rd place in the individual ranking with Rochet M
  • 1999: European Championship in Hickstead: 5th place with the team with Rochet M
  • 2000: Olympic Summer Games , Sydney: 28th place in the individual ranking with Rochet M

Ledermann's successful horse Rochet M was a brown Selle Français- Wallach born in 1983 . The Jalisco B son died in the summer of 2008.
