Sebastian Frey (Chief Bailiff)

Sebastian Frey (* around 1790 in Kenzingen ; † 1878 ) was a German administrative officer and judge.

Life

Sebastian Frey studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg . In 1810 he was one of the founders of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . In 1813 he joined the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . After completing his studies, he became a legal trainee in 1818, court attorney in Meersburg in 1822 , garrison auditor in Constance in 1825 and in Bruchsal in 1832 . In 1839 he was appointed bailiff at the Konstanz district office . 1842 he became a bailiff and Office Board to the district office Möhringen , 1843 to the district office Hüfingen , 1848 under appointment as bailiff to the district office Radolfzell , and was 1849-1857 bailiff and official board of the local government of Salem . He was then chief magistrate in Überlingen until his retirement in 1859 .
