Sebastian Hackl (born October 4, 1980 in Passau ) is a German wrestler and television presenter . His current wrestling name is Sebastian Sage .
Career
At the age of nine, Hackl became interested in wrestling . He was under contract as a contract wrestler at NEW from 2009 to 2012 . He joined GWP and Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) as a free agent , i. H. Wrestlers without a permanent contract with a certain league. He played most of the matches under his ring name Sebastian Sage (English sage ). On April 15, 2013, he announced the temporary end of his in-ring career in order to be able to devote himself to commenting.
Hackl, who is currently under contract with the WWE , has been one of the commentators on the wrestling show Clash Time on Eurosport since 2010 . From March 2013 to April 2014 he was the successor of Günter Zapf on Sky , since WrestleMania XXX in April 2014 he has been a commentator for ProSieben Maxx (SmackDown) and WWE Network (PPVs). Now and then he can also be heard on RAW.
Hackl also comments on mixed martial arts events for DAZN .
