Günter Zapf (born October 6, 1957 in Munich ) is a German television presenter and former football player .

Career

As a child, Zapf wanted to become a professional soccer player . As he got older, he rejected this wish, also because his interest in American football had increased since his youth. This includes, among other things, the start of his own internet blog, where he reports on WrestleMania and publishes interviews with wrestlers such as Murat Bosporus .

In 2014, Zapf was a guest speaker in the radio play MIG2 - Men in Red.

In the past, Zapf has commented on premiere games of the National Football League and Major League Baseball . For Sport1 US , he continues to report on the NFL and on Sky from time to time about golf tournaments. Recently he has also been commenting on the NFL on the new DAZN streaming service .
