Sport1 US (own spelling: sport1 US ) was after Sport1 + the second pay-TV broadcaster of Sport1 Medien AG in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. From August 1, 2013, the station was broadcast in SD and HD resolution and focused on American sports. It was replaced by eSports1 (HD and SD) on January 24, 2019 .

From August 1, 2013, Sport1 US could be received in HD via satellite on sky on the former frequency of ESPN America HD and from August 2, 2013 via UPC in Austria. Sky had also received the exclusive multifeed rights, so that sky customers had the opportunity to choose freely between parallel NFL games or parallel events in different sports. The broadcasting start for this was on September 8, 2013. In the German cable network, the SD channel was launched on August 1, 2013 with Unitymedia Kabel BW and Kabel Deutschland . From January 31, 2014, the station could also be received on Deutsche Telekom's Entertain . In addition, Sport 1 US was also available on Zattoo in the Premium Plus package and on waipu.tv in the Perfect package and from September 1, 2017 also via Magine TV in the Premium package, both in HD. Distribution via Sky was discontinued on June 30, 2017.

Sport1 US HD 1 option channel
An option channel was receivable from September 8, 2013 to summer 2015. This option channel was available via Sky Deutschland in the sports or football Bundesliga package with Premium HD and was used for live NFL, NBA, NHL and MLS games running at the same time. These games were later shown with a time delay on the normal Sport1 channel. This channel was launched mainly for the NFL Sunday evening, when both international games could be broadcast live. With the loss of the NFL rights, this was no longer recorded and finally discontinued.

In the press release on the start of the broadcast it was announced that Sport1 US had acquired a comprehensive rights package from ESPN Sports Media . A few other rights were also acquired. The ESPN rights (NCAAF, NCAAB, IRL) were extended until 2018.
