Sebastian Rödl

Sebastian Rödl (* 1967 in Mainz ) is a German philosopher and university professor .

Life

Sebastian Rödl studied philosophy, musicology, German and history in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main . From 2005 to 2012 he was Professor of Philosophy at the University of Basel . He has been Professor of Practical Philosophy at the University of Leipzig since 2012 .

Research and Teaching

Rödl deals with the nature of human thought and action; especially with the philosophy of mind and language, as well as epistemology , moral philosophy and theory of action .
