Sebastian Roth (born August 8, 1985 ) is a former German handball player .

Roth gained experience in the 1st Bundesliga between 2004 and 2006 at HSG Wetzlar . He then played for TV Hüttenberg and rose to the Bundesliga with Mittelhessen in 2011. From 2012 Roth ran for the German club HSC 2000 Coburg (shirt number 23), where he was mostly used in the position of the left back space. In the summer of 2015, the right-hander returned to TV Hüttenberg after three years in Coburg. With the blue-white-reds, he first made the jump from the 3rd division to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2016 and only one season later he was promoted to the Bundesliga again. He ended his career after the 2017/18 season.

For the 2018/19 season, Roth will take on the role of coach of the national league women at HSG Dutenhofen / Münchholzhausen.
