Sebastian Ryall (born July 18, 1989 in Sydney ) is an Australian football player .

Career

Ryall began his professional career in 2007 in the A-League at Melbourne Victory and was already regularly used in his first season in Melbourne's defensive network. In the following season he only played for the youth team for a long time, only with the 17th matchday he moved into the regular formation, was subsequently also in the squad in the finals. After a total of three games against Adelaide United, they won the championship title at the end of February 2009 with a 1-0 win in the Grand Final. For the 2009/10 season he signed a two-year contract with league rivals Sydney FC .

In May 2009 it became known that the then 18-year-old Ryall is said to have had sexual contact with a 13-year-old in January 2008 and is therefore on trial. After the case became known, the Australian Association banned him from all competitions until September 2009 because he violated the association's code of conduct by bringing football into disrepute in the opinion of the association's officials (" bring FFA or the game of football into Disrepute ").

In 2006 and 2008 Ryall took part in the U-19 Asian Cup with the Australian U-20s . In 2008 he moved into the semi-finals with the team, which meant qualifying for the 2009 Junior World Cup in Egypt. But he missed participation in the World Cup finals due to his association ban.
