Sebastian Schubert (born July 17, 1988 in Hamm ) is a German slalom canoeist . He starts for the KR Hamm.

Career

2013 was the most successful year of his career so far. In addition to the long-awaited German championship title in K1, he also won the overall World Cup. In 2014 he was able to defend both the German championship title and the overall World Cup victory.

In the 2017 season, Schubert once again won the German championships in Munich , both individually and as a team. He also finished second in the overall World Cup. In the same year he reached fourth place at the Canoe Slalom World Championships in Pau, France, 0.24 seconds behind the bronze medal. At the European Championships in Slovenia he was also fourth, 0.06 seconds behind third place.
