Sebastian Stolz (born December 20, 1876 in Augsburg , † September 20, 1963 in Bad Reichenhall ) was a German local politician.

Career

Proud came to Bad Reichenhall as a bricklayer foreman in 1900 . From 1919 he was head of the municipal employment office and co-founder of the non-profit building cooperative . His name is closely related to the establishment of the Glück im Winkel settlement . Political reasons led to his impeachment in 1933. After the end of the Second World War he was head of the local health insurance fund. From 1911 he was a municipal representative and acted as 2nd mayor in the post-war years.

Honors

On the occasion of his resignation from office he was made an honorary citizen on May 24, 1950 because of his great services to the city and the health resort through his influence against radical elements in 1919 and in the thirties . In 1952 he received the Cross of Merit (Steckkreuz) of the Federal Republic of Germany. Sebastian-Stolz-Strasse was named after him in Bad Reichenhall.
