Sébéri ( Sébéri Djerma , Sébéri Zarma ) is a village in the municipality of Kollo in Niger .

The village, led by a traditional local chief (chef traditionnel) , is located on the Niger River , about four kilometers southeast of the urban center of the municipality of Kollo, which belongs to the Kollo department of the same name in the Tillabéri region. Sébéri has a history going back centuries. In the 18th century a group of Maouri gathered here, some of whom settled in the Goudel area, which is considered to be one of the nucleus of the later Nigerien capital Niamey .

At the 2012 census, Sébéri had 2,064 inhabitants who lived in 308 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 1,635 in 206 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 1,319 in 180 households.

Wet rice is grown in the village . The rice fields were created in 1980.

Sébéri is the birthplace of Koulba Baba (1899–1975), a storyteller from the Djesseré profession .
