Seebrugg
Seebrugg , also spelled Seebruck , is a hamlet in the municipality of Schluchsee in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park . The place is 935 m above sea level at the eastern end of the Schluchsee near the dam of the Schluchseewerk , which, in addition to its function for generating electricity, is also a tourist attraction. Seebrugg is the starting point for hikes in this area. A youth hostel offers overnight accommodation.
history
Before the former Faulenfürst community was incorporated on July 1, 1971 , Seebrugg belonged to the same.
The Freiburg button manufacturer Emil Risler (1858–1916) had the Hubertus hunting lodge built in 1897 , where the hotel of the same name is now located.
During the Second World War , the Seebrugg air force helper training camp was located in Seebrugg , where students were trained as air force helper by the 3rd light flak division 932 . In addition, the FLAK department was supposed to protect the dam wall from low- flying aircraft.

In Seebrugg branches of the federal highway 500 , the main road 170 from which to Bonndorf leads. The 32-kilometer long- distance skiing trail Hinterzarten – Schluchsee also ends in Seebrugg . The Seebrugg train station is the terminus of DreiSeenBahn , the day goes every hour and the entire resort area around the Schluchsee Titisee and Freiburg connects.
