View from the Seekarkreuz to the Karwendel
The Seekarkreuz is a 1,601 m high mountain in the Bavarian Prealps .
The summit can be reached as a simple mountain hike from Lenggries or Wildbad Kreuth . On the way to the summit, the Lenggrieser Hut, which is open all year round, is located at 1,338 m . The Seekarkreuz is also often climbed on skis or snowshoes in winter (mostly from Wildbad Kreuth via Schwarzentennalm). The Rauhalm (1400 m) is located in the hollow southeast of the summit.
